In the 1960s and 1970s, a firm called Artisan Home, which had plants in the San Fernando Valley, produced decorative metal items signed C.Jere (not quite a logical combination of the names of the founders, Jerry Fels and Kurt Freiler). They were already very popular at the time and sold in Raymor, (showroom in Manhattan), who specialized in modern design. Over the years, Jonathan Adler was obsessed with exquisite wall hanging metal sculptures C.Jere - gorgeous mirror in the shape of the sun from the metal, explosions and drops brass and mirrors exquisitely frozen for centuries.
